Fence

Have you ever thought of the word fence?  What it is, what it means? 

A fence is about boundaries .... right?  Keeping something private ... or contained.  Keeping something/someone in ..... keeping something/someone out.

The phrase "on the fence" is used to indicate someone is undecided ....

Undecided if they want to be in the boundary or outside the boundary ..... undecided if they want x or y ..... if they believe in a or b .... ON the FENCE.  Undecided.  Unbound .... supposedly.

Or is "On the Fence" really the most bound you can be?    Incapable, even, of picking ... deciding .... just straddling that fence like it is a life raft ......
