I saw this quote this morning: Every decision you make — every decision — is not a decision about what to do. It’s a decision about Who You Are. When you see this, when you understand it, everything changes. You begin to see life in a new way. All events, occurrences, and situations turn into opportunities to do what you came here to do. Neale Walsch
I really like the quote and my immediate reaction was: RIGHT ON
Then I thought: NO, wait --- we all make mistakes. Aren't those also 'bad' decisions? Does that make us bad people? I don't think so ....
So then I 'analyzed' the 2nd part of the quote and have come to the conclusion that it means (for me): NOW that you've reached the understanding that decisions are who you are, think about them more thoroughly, considering all aspects before you 'do'. Do your best to be who you are meant to be.
I'll only add: and when you mess up, own up, accept responsibility and consequences and learn from them all while striving to be the best YOU that you can be.
