Dear God,

I'm not a complainer; this you know!  But ... if at all possible please, please, please let the FLU pass by girlchild.

I'm proud of her for being a good friend and taking her friend to the dr, where she was diagnosed with the flu this week ... but girlchild has already had a rough week and I'd appreciate a break for her! 

I thank you for both of these kids of mine; I thank you that boychild, although in pain, is doing ok.  I admit to having human fear about girlchild's upcoming testing/new drs .... but I place her in your hands and fight the human fear.
