Zebbie the Spazcat

I am talking to my friends, do you MIND?
This is Zebbie, or as I like to refer to him:  Spazcat.   Girlchild received him for Christmas this year.  She's wanted another cat for years but our old neighborhood wasn't ideal for a cat.  Even though he's indoor they can escape and after what happened to our last cat (that's another story for another day) I just couldn't make myself let her have another.  Anyhoo -- She got Zeb, Zeb got her ... or something like that on Christmas Eve, 2010, her 17t birthday.

Like most felines he is FULL of personality.  Always has been.  He immediately realized that Girlchild belonged to HIM.   Funny for a kitty who was in a shelter with only other kitties to keep him company.  He slept in her bed that first night, w/o being invited and has been there ever since.

Yup, DOG FOOD.
He likes to be ON you, 24/7, well unless he is scrounging for FOOD that isn't HIS.   He LOVES dog food.  LOVES it more than, I think, the air he breathes.  I am constantly running him off of Foxxy's food.  So it really is no surprise I come home from work one day to THIS mess!!  Considerate of him, don't you think, to actually get some IN the bowl???
As I said, he likes CONSTANT contact and likes to be on, near, or around a person always.  He likes GC best but if she is not around, I will do.  The first night she stayed away from home after getting him, I attempted to close him out of my room.  I was sort of in dilemma.  I knew he'd WANT to sleep with me because ... well .... he has to be ON, AROUND or NEAR a person ALWAYS.  That being said, the only way to allow him in my room is to leave my door open.  I hate doing that because Foxxy is an OLD dog and grunts, groans, snorts, and scratches ALL NIGHT LONG.  I cannot sleep with all that racket. I can't let Zeb in and close the door because he needs access to the litter box (don't ask me why I didn't just bring the box into my room b/c .... I just don't know why, ok?).  So .... I close the door, crawl into bed, get comfy and ......... suddenly I hear a growling, meowing, howling insanity happening in the hall.  THEN .... the little spaz reaches his little paws UNDER my door and SHAKES the door, WHILE, howling, meowing and in general spazzing the heck out.   Yeah, I let him in.  He won.  I lost.  Sigh.   He then proceeds to nudge me and meow while nudging at the covers,  WHAT?!?!?  He wants UNDER the covers?  Apparently so.  He won. I lost.   THEN he proceeds to KNEAD my thigh with his sharp little claws?  He lost.  I WON.   I have to draw the line somewhere!!

So look at the next couple of pics of sweet little SPAZCAT ......and next time I'll tell you the refrigerator story and the front door story ..... as well as, I am sure, other happenings of his!!!

Girlchild was sick.

Yeah, he likes to be under the computer?!?!?!
