Gratefully exhausted, yeah, that's me!

Yesterday was a LONG day! I worked job1 from 8 am until 4pm and then drove to job2 (one quick detour for kitty litter along the way) and worked until 9:30.  I think I am way too old for this!  LOL.  However, PRAISE JESUS those days are almost over!

As I told a friend this week when we chatted on the phone, I hesitate to complain because I am SO grateful for both jobs in this market, but reality is reality,  I am TIRED.  He assured me it was ok to be honest and I made perfect sense.  Like I told him, the days like yesterday aren't the biggest problem.  It was the overnight working at job2.  It was the getting home at 2am or 6 am AFTER working at job1 that really was working havoc on my body and soul. 

So, YES, I am ready for the 21st when job2 is done and ready for a normal work schedule.  I am SO ready for a life.

Girlchild is happy too.  She hated me working so many nights.  More than I did I think.  

I look at the brutal schedule for the next two weeks and just keep thinking "it is almost over, hang in there."

I remain GRATEFULLY exhausted until then.  :-)
