today my son survived THIS accident.
At the time he was a 17 year old high school senior doing a "ride-a-long" with our local PD.
He turned 18 four days after the accident, we celebrated Mother's Day two days after that. A couple of weeks later it was Prom and Graduation.
He and the driver of the car were so very blessed to have not been hurt worse than they were. So very blessed. They both KNOW this and are thankful -for that I am also thankful.
Boychild turns 20 this Sunday, which is Mother's Day.
My mind goes back to my FIRST Mother's Day .... the day I brought him home from the hospital after he was born.
I'm blessed ..... so very blessed to have been given this child not once, but twice. He's such a good person and I am blessed to even know him, much less be his mother.
