Girlchild and her re-check @ dr

I didn't post this yesterday because yesterday was a celebration of boychild's life.

Girlchild had her follow up with the RA yesterday. 

You may recall she had blood work done a couple of months ago and the nurse called to tell me everything was good except she was anemic.

So when the doctor went over the blood work with me yesterday and showed me the "alerts" I was completely blown away.   He ordered additional blood work and said he believes she has "something in the Lupus family but not Lupus itself."

He started her on a new medication even though he isn't confident it will help her eye situation.

I feel --- what?

I really don't know.  I wasn't convinced the eye inflammation, the arthritis and the anemia were UNRELATED and SEPARATE issues but.... I was going along with the test results.   So even though my HEAD was screaming at me "HOLD UP, this is NOT right" my heart was saying "thank you Jesus."

Now I feel like a rug has been yanked out from under me -- and her.
